The pictures do not do it justice. It really is a very attractive bag. The description is all correct, I just overlooked that there is no zipper closing the back. This past Sunday it was raining where I live, and when I was carrying the bag by the handle it left a gap to the inside of the bag and my contents got a little wet. It was not my iPad as it was protected well in the padded compartment. If you are familiar with a “waxed canvas” bag then you know they typically have more structure and will not “flop” or collapse when empty. This bag is not waxed in that regard and is lacking in some structure when empty. Again, there is nothing misleading in the description and actually the bag is more attractive than the photos reveal. I bought this for my son who will be starting college next year. This is a kid who swore up and down that he would never wear a "man bag", but receiving this as a gift completely won him over.
The bag itself is excellent quality, the fabric and leather are super heavy duty, and damn it's handsome. Seriously considering buying one for myself!
